The Mirror in Your Hands: An Invitation to Read Tarot for Yourself

The Mirror in Your Hands: An Invitation to Read Tarot for Yourself

I am thrilled to share a project close to my heart: my book, "Att läsa tarot för sig själv" (Reading Tarot for Yourself). While this guide is currently available only in Swedish, its mission is universal: to transform tarot from a mystical "fortune-telling" curiosity into a rigorous, grounded tool for self-reflection and clarity in the present moment.

Beyond Prediction: Tarot as a Language

For many years, my professional life has been rooted in the secular rigor of research institutes and corporate strategy. I value that world deeply—but I also know its limits. Magic begins where logic reaches its edge.

I wrote this book as a comprehensive guide for both the complete beginner and the seasoned practitioner who wishes to deepen their dialogue with the cards. In these pages, tarot is not presented as a way to "predict" a fixed fate. Instead, it is a language of symbols and archetypes—a map that helps you navigate your inner landscape and see what you already know, but perhaps haven’t yet found the words for.

What You’ll Find Inside

The book provides a steady foundation in the structure of the tarot—the "landscape" of the deck—before inviting you to step into it. It covers:

  • The Big Life Themes: An exploration of the Major Arcana as milestones on our shared human journey

  • The Fabric of Everyday Life: How the Minor Arcana and the four elements (Fire, Water, Air, and Earth) reflect our daily actions, emotions, and practical realities.

  • The Art of Presence: Practical exercises for blending traditional knowledge with the "compass" of your own intuition.

  • Ethics and Agency: A rigorous focus on maintaining your own free will. The cards do not decide for you; they simply hold up a mirror so that you can make more conscious decisions

A Companion for Your Journey

Currently, this material serves as a special gift for those attending my course in The Art of Reading Tarot for Yourself. I believe that reading for oneself is a radical act of self-sovereignty. It is a way to slow down, listen to the "whispers" of life, and strengthen your own inner voice.

Whether you are looking for mental clarity, a creative spark, or a way to stay grounded in a chaotic world, tarot can be a luminous companion.

Are you ready to stop seeking answers outside of yourself and start listening within?
